I designed the header in photoshop and inserted the image into dreamweaver. Then I started mapping the image and give the blue areas links to other pages that I created in blogspot. First I tried to copy all of the code to blogspot header widget, but it didn't work out as I expected. Then Selim told me to copy the code between the tags.

Flickr Slideshow
I have to put a slideshow to publish every users portfolio in my website. While I was searching on ways to do this on dreamweaver I found a website that does all the work for you. flickrslidr.com takes the pictures in your flickr account and creates a slideshow from the pictures you upload to your account. I will continue searching on how I can create my own design for slideshows.
Splitting The Header
The design of the website I'm trying to build required to split the header gadget of my blogger template into two. This way I can put a button for users to send their portfolios to me.
Since blogger templates doesn't give you the chance to do this (which is something they definitely have to develop) I started to search for html codes. I found this very useful tutorial between lots of different ones. It also lets you to change the alignment of the button and the header as you wish.
Header Design
I think designing a header for the website was an important task because it's like the logo of a company. I wanted to keep it as simple as it can be and used variants of the font Universe for the typographic part of the header. Next thing I did was to find vectoral drawings of an old camera and a Iphone. I tried to combine old technology with a new one in order to represent the purpose of the website and it's simply what you do when you take pictures using apps like hipstamatic.
